MV Foundation helped us connect with the CSR team at Broadridge. And the latest residential home for 40 girls was started in 2019 with their support. We are thankful for their support and hope have a long fruitful partnership.
With the help of Concern India Foundation & Intuit, we started the Girl Child Project. Under this project, we identified the most vulnerable girls from varying communities.
The idea was to motivate females to complete their minimum education, become self-independent, while denying early marriage. Currently, around 60 girls are being supported through this initiative and collaboration
The residential home Shankara Build Pro Boys Home at Shantinagar was started with the help of Shankara Building Product Ltd in 2018. With their support 35 boys have now moved out from a life of hopelessness and darkness to a positive and better future. The unconditional support of the donor is truly valued.
The Corporation was concerned about the issue of vulnerable children. Post a visit by the team, they immediately decided to extend their support to one of the residential homes for boys in 2019. The support has helped in uninterrupted program delivery.
The Company has been helping in strengthening the infrastructure at the residential homes since the past three years. NBI partnered with XL Insurance in 2018-19 for construction of washrooms, toilets and renovation of classrooms. This helped in ensuring continuity of classes with reduced absenteeism.
Since 2019-20, NBI has partnered with Sling media for digitisation of classrooms. As NBI is moving towards upgrading its use of technology in the classrooms as well as program, this support came at the most crucial time.
The partnership started in 2017-18 when Utopia Pvt. Ltd came forward to support food requirement of the children. Since then they have been providing grocery materials for one of the residential homes for girls on a monthly basis. Recently, they also helped in hiring additional teachers thus, addressing the shortage of teachers.
